Language Trainer & Memory Tool

I am not promising a quick alternative either. It has been proven that the only sure method to learn something is through repeated retrieval.1 When I designed Word-It I made sure that it was designed around that concept. The result was a user populated word or phrase list that will repeat until the user has learned it, be it Spanish, Italian, French or German. Also incorporated into the app is a version of the Google Translate API to facilitate the process. A word of caution, though. The translator has been known to make mistakes.
Word-It is better utilized as a website companion. In my search to find a good language learning website I stumbled upon a little treasure called Livemocha. What I like about Livemocha is the community. There are many people online willing to help you learn the language you desire to learn, including myself. It is also very easy to navigate. I hope to see you there soon.
If you find that Livemocha is not for you use the search tool below to find a website that offers free lessons.
